Shana joined the Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah as communications manager in 2014. Her career has included over 15 years of senior management and strategy positions in a variety of sectors, from education to the arts to gender-based activism, and the Jewish community. She holds an undergraduate degree in theater and a graduate degree in nonprofit strategy, both from Yale University, making her the second playwright/MBA on staff. When not crafting communications on behalf of LKFLT, she provides consulting and coaching services to a variety of nonprofit organizations and directors under her own shingle.
Shana lives with her husband and young son in Woodbridge, CT. She serves on the Boards of the Yale Alumni Fund, the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale, and volunteers regularly for local literacy and library projects.
